So basically your middle tier retrieve an ADO recordset from your data-tier and simply passes it on to the presentation tier?

Also, I keep hearing good references to Active Reports. How does it really compare to Crystal Reports? The watered downed version of CR I got with VS6 isn't really too impressive.
