Well IMHO if there has been an increase in marketing it has been done begrudgingly by MS.

The VFP web pages at MS are updated only occasionally while it's hard to keep up with changes on their other products.

I went to see what kind of MOLI courses and other online study for VFP was available, thinking of getting certification. What I saw was pitiful, just a MOLI course in VFP 3.0 I think...

What's the matter with MS - No budget for VFP or something?

Do we have to pump up the profile ourselves? Would that be flogging a dead horse?

Maybe we should all make public and catalogue as many of our classes and functions as possible so that other people can make use of them and VFP will get more popular. Open architecture like Big Blue in the Eighties.

I recognise that UT is already trying to do this but is it enough?

I am afraid of VB - there's no command window. :)

>Last year at same time, I would have agreed. But, since a year, we've seen an increase of Microsoft Visual FoxPro marketing. Microsoft Visual FoxPro is mostly active than ever with the community and the next few months are surely to be more than interesting especially with the VFP 6 release.
