>>>you could create Cursor3 which has the union of the columns in Cursors 1 and 2, add an artificial "Group By" column, and put 1 in that column for "Report 1" and 2 for "Report 2", then set up a top level Data Grouping on the combined report.

>>>Your other Group bands, and Detail bands would need to be set up with multiple report fields each using "Print When": some would have Print When = 1, others woiuld have "Print When" = 2.

>>>Expanding on Thomas' idea, you might be able to use John Koziol's FRX2WORD utility to create and merge 2 Word documents, then use an MS Word Reader to preview it.

>>FRX2WORD relies on Word Automation - IOW, Word has to be installed on all systems...

>Like Thomas, it's been a while since I looked at the free "reader" for Word97. Do you know if it supports automation? Probably not, since that would give it the functionality of a full version of Word...

Well, since FRX2WORD -writes- the document using Word Automation, I think a full version of Word is needed to generate the output.

>Also, does MS offer an equivalent free reader(s) for O2K?

It's a variant of HTML, so probably a Web Browser can view it.
