Hi Trey. I did the changes exactly like you did and tried
to put the function in the "Record validation Rule" field.
But I got an error message: "Record Validation Rule is Violated".
Also, I tried in the "Field Validation Rule" of cName field and
I got "Field cName Validation Rule is Violated". All the records
for fields cName, cName2, cNameSearch are empty.

It is almost working and we are closed. Let's not give up.
