>This may be almost impossible to believe, but the FL Supreme Court has just ruled for Gore and the recount, over-ruling Judge Sauls. They plan on including the 300-400 Gore votes that Harris excluded, and recounting all undervotes statewide, to be more fair (or legal, anyway). Dems lost both the Seminole & Martin cases. And of course, the FL legislature will come into the picture now, quite certainly.

Bruce,

Incredible, no doubt.

Talk about one branch of government being out of control...

But, just adding 3-400 votes? I too think they overstepped their authority and once again are inserting rank partisanship into this contest. It's a real shame that they have none and seem to be willing to do just about anything to 'win', if that's what you'd call it.

My guess is that either Bush will appeal (once again) to the Supreme Court and/or the Florida Legislature will simply put in those electors.

What I'd be interested in is what rationale they used for their decision and what law they based it upon. Overruling Judge Sauls on what grounds?

I'd hardly call this a home run. <g> Desperation bunt perhaps... <g>
Best,
