My version of MSIE is "3.02 (4.70.1300).

It happened also on 2 prior releases of MSIE. WHen I last asked it was also reported as the behaviour of NetScape.

>Michel, the 'autoscroll' problem occurs on the MSIE that came with my Win95, version 3.02. My Netscape doesn't seem to have the problem. If others are using different MSIE versions, perhaps they could send a BRIEF message about which ones have problems. Could help trouble-shoot more quickly.
