I've tested this, but i don't get the error
i simply put in

LPARAMETERS vNewVal
DEBUGOUT vNewVal
DODEFAULT(vNewVal)

And it works without problems using winMe and VFP 7.0 beta 1

can you give a more detailed description of your problem, like what code you use, and what situation gives you the error?
