Thanks again. I really figured out the CodePage thing, this time.

In \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls\Locale,

the first entry (the 'Default' one) have a value. In my case, it is
'00000418'. Below, they are explained. This one is 'Romanian'.

In this case, I think that is enough to test the default value, and, if
it is the expected one, I will use in app the locale strings table. If
is anything else, I will use another string table, with some replacements
(º with s, þ with t, etc).

Anyway, you gave me a kick in the right direction. And that's a very
