I have seen the problem referred to for S.M.A.R.T drives, don't know when it happened but certainly after Service Pack 1 for W2K, my machines hardly ever reboot, but the last time it took for ever but eventually made it, looks like my expensive Seagate SCSI is one of the smart ones ??
The first one seems to only refer to Exchange and Commerce Servers but not to W2K Pro.
Thanks

I think you ar Right Andrew because at my job we are 16 VFP developers and everyone works with VFP 5.0/6.0/7b and W2K professional edition on Compac i-pack (i think our disks arent smarter than yours :)),since the first release of W2k beta (we are betatesters of Microsoft too) and ever has this kind of problem... the only thing who made me scare is the inminent users migration from winnt4 to W2k and its consecuences :(
