I don't think so. VFP also cannot create ActiveX controls. So what? There are things that VFP does that VB cannot. That is not the point.
The point of the original message, the way I understood it, was telling of a jerk that put down VFP and extolled VB
w/o comparing the two tools for suitability for a particular job and obviously w/o knowledge of the other tool whatsoever.
It's like me saying that Access is better than VFP. Sure it is, for a small job for an end-user that wants to keep her kitchen recipes, it is without a doubt. {g}
