That may be the best approach. It reminds me of going to a Catholic Priest with a problem. A standard response: “This too will pass my son”! Sometimes it is better to remain quiet and let go. I know when I am confronted by a fool I let him say what ever he thinks. I do not argue with fools, emotions or the mentally challenged. It is better to smile and get on with your life.
