Mike,

>So you censor yourself? Or just hold back?

Yes. It's called living by a set of standards, and I'm sure you also do the same thing, but with differing standards. I'm sure that your personal code of conduct does not permit you to commit murder, for example. And, probably your sense of propriety would advise against shouting out obscenities in the middle of someone's wedding. I'll bet that you would probably censor yourself in that case.

>Doesn't sound like fun to me.

Fun is not always the best determinant factor in living responsibly.

>I'd rather say what I want without worrying wether or not my feelings hurt an outsider,

That's certainly an intellectually lazy approach to conversation. I'd rather find a way to express myself that offends the sensibilities of the fewest people possible, while yet stating my viewpoint or feelings accurately.
I have not yet found a situation where public profanity was necessary to accomplish that.

>But you said "You cannot express those feelings in public using those words" ...

No, you're misquoting me. Here is the exact exchange:

Mike: If you are told not to use certain words, it is equal to saying "don't express those feelings".

David: I'd say it's more like "Don't express those feelings publicly (or in this setting, or whatever the situation may be) using those particular words".

Your contention was that expression of feelings is being denied if you are told not to use certain words. I contend that those feelings can, with an adequate knowledge of the language, be expressed just as clearly using alternate words.

>...which is unconstituional, and thats all I said. My link proves that.

Your link proves that the US Supreme Court allowed certain words to be worn on clothing in a public building. The application of that decision across the board to all utterances in any place, public or private, is not valid.
