I now have the problem on three computers.

Two of them are running WinMe, and one is running W98.
One of the WinMe machines is installed about a week ago.
I think the way to reproduce the error is as follows.
Install the OS
at the first start you are asked for a username and a password.
choose a username, but let the password be blank.
Install your network.
Then the window will popup again and asks you for a password every time you start the pc. This is normal. I still let the password be blank.
Now i log on as a different user, and also without a password.
The next time i start up my computer, i see the login screen and it directly goes away, without logging me in.
I'm then logged in anonymously.

The problem is that i cannot get it to work that the computer asks me for a login.

Can anybody help me?
