I'm trying to write an application that includes FTP abilities in VB 5.0. I tried using the MS Internet Transfer Control, but quickly discovered it has a bug (even MS acknowledges the bug, it's in their Knowledge Base) in that it won't work with FTP servers that are case-sensitive. The server this FTP application needs to connect to is a UNIX server, which is VERY case-sensitive.

Can anyone give me any advise on how to do this? There is the WinINET API calls, but I've never really delt with API calls in Visual Basic, and all the references to the WinINET API that I can find give the API specs in MFC notation (MACROized variable types). I'm not sure how to declare these in VB.
