I ran the test with set step on in the asktosave()in the development mode and everything ran OK, getting the message from msgsvc.
The tests that I am running are on a test network here in the office which is basically a production environment.

This is a strange situation because in the other clients network I made some changes last week and inadvertantly deleted the msgsvc table and when I logged on I immediately got a message that it could not find msgsvc.dbf. But no such message here so it must be finding it. But no header or text in the message dialog box.
