But when you create a link in Access, what are you selecting as the Data type in the Files of Type combo box? Are you selecting ODBC databases there? If so, then you have to select an ODBC DSN. In VFP if you open a DBC and issue CREATE CONNECTION COMPUTEREASE, you get prompted for a DSN to use. If you select the same DSN for that connection, can you not then create a remote view directly to the DAT files? I am assuming you used a Computerease ODBC driver when you created the DSN.
