If you set the grid's recordsource to "" (empty string) before you change the SQL-Select, then set it back to the cursor name when you have the new data you won't have to reset the grid's properties.

>PS - Yes, I am blowing the thing to hell allright, lol. I am not really changing the ControlSource Property. WHat I do is re-build the control source with a SELECT - SQL. This de-attatches the table from the grid so I gotta reset all the properties.
