I wouldn't worry, though. At two they are in the middle of the dependence/independence quandry and I'm sure he gets a sense of security by sitting in your chair and 'doing your work'. As he becomes more social and develops friendships with other kids he'll spend less time "being you" and eventually find his own balance. Of course he could STILL end up a teenage computer genius like Mike Helland - I'm sure you wouldn't want that! < grin >

The worst part is when they're 2 or 5 or 10 and do something you didn't know could be done on the computer - let alone know how to do.

>I came home from work tonight to find my two-year-old son, Andrew, fast asleep at my computer. In his right hand was the mouse and his head was resting lightly on the keyboard. I spend so much time tinkering on my machine, banging out new ideas, that I often sat Andrew on my lap as a small baby to spend quality time with him while navigating the computer with one arm.
