I need to create a number field, (length-7, decimal,2) in a query, how do i do that. Rate is the field that i am trying to create.

SELECT pdsub.*, SPACE(1) AS ratecd, SPACE(7)AS rate;
FROM pdsub.dbf;
INTO TABLE wkpaid.dbf
