You can't set the background color of a VFP button. This are determined by the 3D Objects color setting in the OS. However, you can use the Commandbutton ActiveX control that comes with MS Forms. It should be installed as part of VFP.

You can also use these options, however, they don't have the exact functionality of a button (e.g. focus):
1. 3D Container with a label to emulate a button.
2. Picture button with a colored bitmap.
