I thought you all might like to know there has been an increase in the number of Fox and VFP positions in the U.K. I do not know if this is due to seasonal variation or some other factor.
I'm on the
www.JobServe.Com mail list (this is specific to IT and also the UK). Sometimes days will pass, with no hint of new opportunities - maybe my criteria are too specific. But recently (the last three weeks), there have been daily posts.
One recent post for a London position has a rate of 55 GBP (about 80 USD per hour) - this is for a long-term contract (one year) so the rate would normally be considered pretty good. The general trend is towards higher rates - this could be because a lot of Fox people have sold their soul to the devil and moved over to VB (making Fox people harder to find).
