>Any suggestions for good resources to help an old programmer like me learn enough javascript to use on my WebConnection projects?
I just found another resouce you might be interested in, Allaire's Introduction to JavaScript (
http://www.allaire.com/Documents/js2/js000.cfm). Allaire is the company that sells the HomeSite HTML Editor, which BTW includes a JavaScript wizard that generates a few scripts for you.
Also the CoffeeCup HTML editor (
http://www.coffeecup.com) comes with a bunch of JavaScripts. Even if you don't want or need those particular ones, sometimes it's easier to learn by looking than by studying <s>.
