Hi!
I invented nothing new, just look to popular databse systems and interfaces. I even did not read MS Recommendations for Windows applications interface, just looked to Windows and other MS application interfaces and make mine by similar way.

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
