People make their own careers and they don't send you a letter to tell you about it. You have no idea of the business or career status or prospects of the vast majority of VFP people out there. How can you possibly feel qualified to make statements like that above, especially in a thread about VFP jobs in the UK? Are you an expert on VFP opportunities in the UK?

Next you'll be telling us that because there are a lot of crappy old Hondas in your street, most cars in the world are crappy old Hondas and anybody who disagrees is a dolt because you can see those cars plain as day.

John -- good point. I hope you also copied the other post-ers on the thread who have commented so unscientifically on the state of careers in other parts of England, Atlanta, etc.

These threads really irritate me because they serve up anecdote as fact -- if any novices are out there listening to this garbage, don't! You are better off speaking with (several) head-hunters about your desired geographic area, business area, and current levels of expertise. The ranges are too great to make sweeping statements.
