The INSERT command - not the INSERT-SQL command - will do this, but I'm not sure if it works on buffered tables - it does not work on tables with an index.
All you'll see in help on this is that is for backward compatibility only.

That said, why do you really need this? Why is having them added to the end a bad thing?
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
