Well, if he knows what the indexes are, yeah, he can hard code them, and recreate them by deleteing the orginal CDX opening the table and INDEX. But if he planned to convert them all (IOW he didn't know what the expressions were), he'd have to open the table to get at them, which causes the error that he wants to supress.
