Loaded question, John. A major issue here has been interpreting the results of the election. Since no clear cut agreement on that has been found, it's hard to debate for or against.
OTOH, I saw someone post about the "sanctity of the vote". Ahem, but that phrase comes from case law and not the Constitution. The Constitution simply says "let the state legislatures deal with elections" and popular elections have become the *traditional* means to pick presidents.
