Ashish,

Now I want to create a shortcut icon on the desktop when my application is installed on user's machine with the cion I suppy and the path the user selects while installation.

The VFP setup wizard can't do this directly. There are two possible choices, both, however, involve a post setup executable. First, the Windows Script Host provides the ability to create shortcuts and to retrieve the locations of the Desktop and so on. It must be installed, however. Ed Rauh and I address these issues in our series of articles on the WSH in recent VFUG (www.vfug.org) newsletters, beginning with last September's issue. These are available on-line at the site.

Second, you could use my LNKFILES.DLL which is available in the Win32 And Other APIs section of the UT file downloads. It comes with documentation as to how to use it.

Can I create a Program Group in Windows 95 Program Menu ?

Yes, you need to check the PM Item check box in step 6 of the setup wizard.

Can I include my applications Icon in system tray ?

Yes, but you'll need a utility do so. Bela Bodecs has such a utility in the form of a FoxPro library (FLL) here at the UT in the download section.
