Hmm... Well, if I don't have a web server running on the client, won't I have the problem of having to write two different client apps?

I want to write a VFP exe client that calls a VFP exe server that returns XML. I was thinking that the client, using wwIPStuff, would post/receive from a web server, which would instance the COM object and return XML to parse. If the client and web server and VFP COM server are all on the same PC workstation, than you have the PC serving itself. If I have the VFP client instance the VFP server over CreateObject() then I now am getting at the XML in two different ways.

Am I right? What's a better way to do this?
