Like countless other weary souls before me, I'm trying to print to a dot matrix printer using high speed draft mode. I've been through the prior postings (great information) and started down the path of Report Form -> Generic Printer -> File -> CopyFile(network spool path). It worked great until I tested my work on Windows 2000. The port names returned by APRINTERS() are "Ne00:", "Ne01:" ... which, AFAIK, don't do me any good. The DOS prompt doesn't seem to recognize them and CopyFile sure doesn't. If I've missed a previous post, I apologize. Anyone know how to resolve the NeXX name to a UNC, or is there another way around this?
