No, it's the reason that controls like the MS CoolBar don't work with VFP as well. I haven't used the ADO grids you've mentioned in VFP apps under VFP 6. The problem with the CoolBar and ActiveX containers is referenced in the MSKB - try http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q186/1/23.ASP
