The executable is on each workstation along with any graphics that are used for Reports (previous thread). All tables are on the Server. I'm not sure where the temporary files are at this point. It's been so long since it was set up, I'll check that one out.
I am not sophisticated at this point to use a launcher to check for a new version of an executable. Instead I start with a dirty little batch file which copies the EXE from the server to the workstation and then starts the application. Any guidance here on the launcher is welcome.
With the EXE on the workstation, I can't think of any other reason for the slow down, except for the external 'frame relay' connection. There has been no speed loss with many stations in one office, until the other office connects this way.
