Howdy,

Looking for some ideas with a performance problem at a new customer.

For some reason our App. is very slow at a new customer and I have no idea why.
-The Application is standard VFP code with Free Tables.
-What is slow is openning a form - 1.5 minutes (usually max 20 seconds.)
-Saving 20 lines in a grid - 2 min's (usually 5 seconds...)

Their network is faster then ours 100MB ethernet.
The server is a P3 with 1GB memory and a huge disk.
It is not used for anything else.

There is only one user usering the application and the speed problem happens.
They are not using any antivirus software.
The clients are P2's with 64MB.

The hardware far exceeds our guidlines. And I have never seen any problem like this before. We have almost thousands of customers with the same software.

-There is only 3 records in the system so far.
-I Tried reindex the database anyways.

-When I copy the application and run it from the server it is fine.
-I took their data and application home and set it up on our server (which is smaller and our network is only 10 MB!) And it is fine here.

I am at a total loss as to what it could be Any ideas?
But it must be at the client?

Any wild guesses would help.
