Hello All.
We have a server access design where NT Server administrators must not be
among SQL Server 7.0 administrators. We will use mixed authantication, but to
saveguard ourselves from the consiquenses of an accidantal switch from
mixed to NT authantication we staged such a situation.
So we had to switch from NT back to mixed authantication without being able
to connect to the SQL Sever as the administrator. The only solution we found
was to reinstall the SQL Server 7.0.
Is there a better way of changing the authantication mode?
I beleive there is an NT Server register entry which sets the SQL Server's authantication mode when the server is started.
Thank you.
Kamil
