Yes, I don't put a lot of faith in eyewitness identification. People's perceptions and prejudices play too big a role. Two people can witness the same crime, yet give significantly different versions of the event.

I would actually be in favor of the death penalty if I could be 100% certain the accused actually committed the crime. I just don't think that a lot of poor people are getting a fair trial.
