It's 98 for clients and the server is a brand new win 2000 server just for
the application.
We tried with every single program closed on the clients and it made
no difference.

I remember once something about the netcard set either set to
Duplex or Duplex was turned off and performnace was increased drastically or something like that. But I'm far from a network wiz. Does this give you any ideas?
