Are you asking for opinions on why would people want to write a book on the VFP cert or take VFP exams?

Since your response concedes the "revenue" argument (right?), let's talk about the current exams. Jim Booth has already calculated around three more years for the current cert. I wasn't giving it more than two but he's got good logic on that figure.

So I think it's still worth the effort for people to try and get certified with the VFP exams. Even more if in fact it is not included on the next track, because that will give it at least 1-2 more years to expire. That happened with the VFP3 certification, if I'm not mistaken.

But we're just speculating it won't be there, right?
