Hmm, couldn't say; my main .NET languages right now are C# and unmanaged C++. If this were true, it would kind of make sense. Which would you think to be more stable, a "ground up" compiler, or a compiler that's been cobbled to fit a new paradigm? (Of course, the other compilers could be written from scratch, too, but I wouldn't know without walking down the hall and picking brains.)
