Not in VFP, they aren't. I don't think this is any different in VFP 7. The only enhancement I've heard is that the hWnd property is being added to forms. If it were differnt in VFP 7, that would have involved a major rewrite.

They rendered, yes, but they probably also have HWND. VFP just allows them to draw self in the memory DC, than applies that DC content together with other drawings (for example, drawings of shapes and grids) to the screen. I will make investigation and let know here. Is it not true? Is it true only for VFP 7?
