As far as Fox has ever been concerned, unless it is defined otherwise, the ESC key has always been the "Oh S***! get me out...get me out NOW!" key. Personally I prefer to keep it that way, so all of the systems I write and have written (unless the user just CAN'T get the above concept through their noggin') leave it as such.
