The anti-gun sentiment and immature mentality is apparent when you make light of firing at someone for such a trivial reason as a difference of opinion in an open, non-earth changing forum. Making light of assaulting someone or worse taking their life or inferring that I would is no jovial matter ( and exactly why we have the 2nd amendment ). I have no ill feelings nor am I angry with anyone, I am merely engaging in an open debate on a hot constitutional issue, which last time I checked is under my rights in the 1st amendment or have you guys modified that one as well. I was rather enjoying change views on this and other subjects. I love a good debate and am surrounded by people that share my views. Since I have began a more docile lifestyle (trust me it is)I don't get to mix it up (verbally) with many people anymore. Most of these business type are too stuffy and caught up in e-money.

A serious and mature gun owner does not take that power lightly and the simple act of owning a gun has prevented such escalations of violence in a civilized environment. Only when confronted with ignorance, greed, and stupidity have people had to defend themselves. The anti-gun faction doesn't like them until they need one then they are the first to use one and usually incorrectly. Case and point: the Washington D.C. columnist years ago who was a front-line fighter for gun control until he confronted an intruder in his home and shot him with an unregistered handgun. He changed his tune the next day. Turned out it was a convicted burglar out on parole.

If you guys have crossed over and gotten upset I am sorry and maybe it is time we conclude our banter so you don't blow a blood vessel and have me convicted of heracy. Besides engaging in a firefight might cause me to have a flashback or something (joke). I have been under fire on many occasions , in military and civilian employ, and returned a different person each time, but a better and more compashionate man for going, with a vision for what is truly important. You should try it. It is a better head cleaner than any antihistamine and helps you retain focus.
