Agreed, this is pointless.
>You are right. "Revisionist" that is a new one. I thought I was under McCarthyism or something. Pointless is right, you go bleed for your friends and I'll bleed for mine. As for being scared, I don't condemn Churchill, I applaude him. He had the good sense to get us into the war before it was too late. The war was won by a complement of forces working together. The Russians however, made no forward progress until we took on Hitler's western front, then the Russians paid us back by drawing German forces east in 1943-1944 and allowed us to get Patton rolling. You are trying to say I am erasing all contributions other than the U.S. and that is wrong. I am saying that without our contribition, and it was a big one no matter how you downplay it, the outcome would have been different. If you continue to think so then so be it, I am sure there are those that agree with both you and I. You are surely one of the new visionaries, who people from other cultures love to talk to because you don't
>identify with the history and contribitions of your country as being benevolent for whatever reason. So you're right let's end this pointless exchange.
