Yes, this is so. You have at least two options with west wind web connection. Run a web server with web connection and access the data with:

1. A brower interface (thin client, but limited GUI)
2. A VFP program at the client workstation (fat client, rich GUI)

Either way, you can limit that data coming down the pipe, which is where VFP on a LAN runs into trouble.
