I wouldn't say that. I would say that he doesn't TRY to do anything. My guess is that he believes he's objective only because everyone should have the same beliefs as him. There's no way to really convince someone like that otherwise cause they believe it so deeply.

Just my guess, I'm obviously too young to have a wise point of view here.
