Never make an absolute statement (“Thats why I don't want any beliefs.”). Absolutely! Gee, I think I just disobeyed that rule! Twice in fact!
I find that many people have a value system based upon one of the following:
Ignorance – they know little and want to learn nothing.
Knowledge – understands many answers for the same question. Willing to accept others opinions but have his/her own answers and willing to debate them.
Then we have emotions – push my button – mentality.
Everyone has a value system. Some people are unable to define what his/hers is.
