I have resolved the problem by copying the tables as fox2x and converting the database driver in CR from psodbc.dll to PDBXBSE.DLL. In my application I am creating a free table on every report run so it was and easy change to create the fox2x type file.
In addition I downloaded an updated PDBXBSE.DLL file from CR (psxbse2000.exe). CR mentioned this file fixed some issues relating to the year 2000 (for FoxPro Tables). I am not sure if this is really needed to resolve the problem as I did not test the reports before applying the update. Hopefully i my next application I will use the RDC.
