Users will upload specially named doc/xls/txt files to a website and then we want to make them displayable/printable online, though the formatting and printing does not have to be super slick as these documents are supporting documents only and not of primary importance to the project.

The only way I can see to do this is to convert them to html by using automation of excel/word, and then build a page of links that display them all for one account. Of course Word and Excel will have to be installed on the server, but this is not a problem.

Does anyone see a better way of handling this problem?
