Also dump MS certified courses and go for the privately developed courses, they have much more meat in them. Read read read, VFP books, Books on OO analysis and design books on relational database analysis and design. The OO books look for these authors, Taylor, Yourdan, Wirfs-Brock, Jacobsen, and Booch.
