When I was doing the FPW 2.6, I did use m.field1, m.field2, etc... memory varibles. It's been a while that I am still learning the VFP, I have not even completed my first VFP with forms (all other VFP where prgs, like the 2.6).
So, do I just add the 'm.' and use SCATTER/GATHER in the 'Click Event'? Maybe this would be a good way to prevent dupe blank PK, since I would be clearing the PK (if recalling the deleted record). Are you referring to this way as your suggested (memory varibles)? Would/Is that way taking me back to the 'old faction' and not taking the advantage of the OOP?
To Mark, I will look into the TableUpdate, TableRevet,
... Is this the oppsite of using the 'm.' memory varibles steps?
I really will have to study what is 'Init' really is.

>First, create a memory varuable for each data element and assign the form controls to the memory variables. You can do this in the forms init method.
