Thanks for the reply. It's a rights issue. I had it too, and I have the paths and the file set correctly.

THen in VFP Tools/Options/File Locations select Help, turn it on and point it to the \visual studio\msdn\...\foxhelp.chm file. The file can also be somewhere out on the network if he doesn't mind the delays that imposes on the help system.
